 About these posters

I have been designing and printing posters for arts organisations since the 1970s. Many of my images have been for performances of music and for bands of one sort or another - The Police, U2, The Beloved, UB40, several punk bands, World Music…

In the early days I worked with the artist Ken Meharg in our studios at the Arts Lab in Birmingham, then at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London, then at our workshop at Butler’s Wharf, London (as X3 Posters) and then at our studio in Shoreditch, London (X3). In the early 1980s I moved to Suffolk where I work from my home studio.

The posters for sale here are all the original posters that were used to advertise events and performances. They are copies that I kept for my records, although the majority of the designs I have made are not available because I didn’t keep examples of most of them.
